CORE Phase
The CORE phase will introduce key development concepts and terminology virtually through our online learning hub. Instructors are actively involved in online class discussions and available to answer questions during daily office hours.

10 online lessons covering the fundamental terminology and concepts of fundraising in Tessitura
Video learning, immediately reinforced by quiz assessments and hands-on exercises in a personal course database
Tools to track your progress and badges to celebrate your success
Course forums to connect with your instructors and fellow students
Industry seminars, supplemented by group discussions among the class
Links to elective learning resources and a full Tessitura glossary of terms
IMMERSIVE Phase
The IMMERSIVE phase builds upon the foundational knowledge gained during the CORE Phase. During this six-day period, lecture-style classroom training will be combined with lab time for hands-on system setup work to reinforce each unit as it is being taught.

28+ hours of classroom lectures focused on critical ticketing functionality and structures
25+ hours of lab time staffed with a Tessitura trainer to provide additional instruction
6 days of networking with engaged arts and cultural professionals
Completion of a functional organizational model in your class database
ENCORE Phase
The ENCORE phase applies the student's newly learned skills to complete a group project over the course of three weeks.
Deepen community connections by working with fellow students to solve a real-world scenario
Elective learning opportunities on advanced topics
Final project presentation on a virtual meeting with all students, the Lead Instructor and the Teaching Assistants in attendance
Earn a Certificate of Course Completion upon successful completion of the course work, practicum and final project

Course Overview
This course offers in-depth training of fundraising configuration and best practices over a six-week time period, including one week of in-person education. The Comprehensive curriculum begins with 10 virtual lessons, followed by a week-long immersive classroom experience and ends with a group project where students use newly learned skills to design a Tessitura solution to a real-world scenario. The course is taught by three highly experienced Tessitura staff instructors, ensuring not only a high degree of teacher assistance for each student enrolled, but also that a broad and deep knowledge of best practices across a wide variety of organizations will inform each course.
