Duty of Care
Tessitura is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all TLCC participants, vendors and staff. We are diligently monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO) and local health authorities’ regulations around COVID-19. For additional information on how to avoid catching and spreading COVID-19, visit healthdirect.gov.au.
We will update our Duty of Care statement on a regular basis to reflect changes to mandates. We take this pandemic seriously and we are working hard to provide the safest environment possible.
Comfort level indicator
Upon check-in you will be able to select a colour-coded button to indicate your personal level of comfort when it comes to contact. The options are:
- Green – High fives and handshakes
- Orange – Elbow bumps
- Purple – Keeping my distance
Masks
- The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare strongly encourages masks to be worn in indoor areas where you can’t physically distance.
Hand sanitiser
- Hand sanitiser stations will be positioned throughout the meeting space.
Conference venue
- To the extent possible, we are working to ensure attendees have space to distance themselves from one another throughout the conference venue. Tessitura may need to cap conference registration and limit room capacity.
Personal accountability commitment
The responsibility for a safe and healthy event environment (Duty of Care) is shared among the event organiser, venue and every participant. All TLCC participants are expected to adhere to and abide by the safety precautions Tessitura is implementing to protect against the spread of COVID-19. As part of your Duty of Care responsibilities, you should:
- Not attend and avoid contact with others if you have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) or have symptoms of COVID-19.
- Not attend TLCC if you believe that you may have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19.
- Not attend if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for your treatment.
- Self-monitor for covid-like symptoms while at the conference. If you test positive for covid at the conference, please self-isolate immediately, seek guidance from your health care provider, and follow their instructions. We also ask you to immediately notify us by emailing conference@tessituranetwork.com.
- Respect the personal comfort of fellow attendees.
- Participate only in events where you feel comfortable.
- Self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 after the conference. Please contact us at conference@tessituranetwork.com if you experience symptoms of COVID-19 within five days of TLCC. Any private health or personal data received by Tessitura will be treated as confidential.
- Should any positive cases be reported at the event or within the five-day time frame, Tessitura will send a communication to all registered participants advising them to monitor their symptoms and test if they wish.
All those who register for TLCC 2022 are asked to indicate their agreement with this Duty of Care during registration, as well as the COVID-19 Assumption of Risk and Waiver Agreement. If you cannot indicate agreement, please contact the conference team at conference@tessituranetwork.com so that they can address your concerns.
