Updates on infrastructure and feature enhancements
Riding the wave of momentum

Riding the wave of momentum

This has been a transformative year for Tessitura and for our members.
We started 2025 with a vision to make Tessitura more intuitive, more powerful and even more aligned with the evolving needs of arts and culture organizations.
Now as the year draws to a close, we’re not just reflecting — we’re celebrating. That vision is becoming reality.
Momentum by the numbers
Our work is about more than simply improving our software. It’s about giving you and your teams the tools to deliver exceptional experiences that bring value and connection to your communities. From foundational upgrades to future-forward features, this technology evolution is undergoing measurable momentum. You’ve told us you’re feeling the difference, too.
In 2025, we’ve advanced both product adoption and impact:
- Today, 59% of member organizations are live on Tessitura v16.
- This year, we delivered more than 75 releases across our platform.
- We made more than 1,700 improvements to v16 alone — many driven by your feedback.
- We processed $3.2 billion in transactions via Tessitura Merchant Services.
- We issued 1.8 million mobile wallet tickets.
- We maintained 99.99% uptime in our cloud environment.
These numbers aren’t mere metrics. They represent real progress in making your work easier, your customer experiences smoother and your operations more resilient.
Delivering for you, your customers and our platform
We’ve anchored our technology vision in three pillars: what we’re doing for you, what we’re doing for your customers and how we’re improving our platform to make it all possible. Here’s what that looked like this year.
For you
We promised to accelerate our innovation to support you through digital transformation and changing customer behaviors. Transforming your Tessitura experience is key to our product strategy. When we think about your experience and the experience of your teams, we’re striving to ensure Tessitura is easier than ever to use, train and learn.
This year, we released numerous enhancements that make Tessitura simpler and more efficient, including:
- Delivering dozens of new features to you via your browser in v16.
- Making most standard reports available in the browser, too, alongside several utilities. These include the ability to manage special activity, Gift Aid declarations, constituencies and attributes.
- Adding four prebuilt analytics dashboards to help you more deeply explore your customer journeys and make faster, smarter decisions.
- Improving integrated payments in Tessitura Merchant Services to heighten security and dramatically reduce fraud.

For your customers
The second pillar of our technology and product vision is providing valuable digital innovations for your customers. We want to give them the tools they need to engage on their terms — quickly, easily and securely.
This year, enhanced digital convenience for your customers looked like:
- Providing add-to-calendar links so your ticket buyers have an easy way to save event details to their personal calendars with one click. The new feature has been used more than 100,000 times since it went live in July.
- Releasing click-to-pay as a payment method in Tessitura Merchant Services, allowing customers using Visa or Mastercard to save their card details in their click-to-pay wallets and purchase with one click.
- Delivering select-your-own-seat (SYOS) functionality for flex packages in test environments, giving your customers the option to choose their seats or the best available seats for every event in their package. This functionality will be fully released by the end of the year.
- Planning to release digital wallet membership cards for testing at the end of November, with several out-of-the-box templates that include multiple member names, organization logos and dynamic card updates.
For our platform
Our momentum isn’t just about new features. It’s also about strengthening the foundation of Tessitura’s technology. This ensures our platform is secure, stable and performant to meet your needs now and in the future.
This year’s foundational improvements included:
- Performance tuning and auto-scaling to provide excellent customer experiences during high-demand on-sales
- Analytics and server infrastructure projects to advance our cloud-first goals
- Considerable investment in tools, services and capabilities that ensure a best-in-class defense against cybersecurity risks
The future is here
We made a big decision this year to sunset Tessitura v15 and TNEW v7 by the end of 2027. That decision wasn’t made lightly — but it was made confidently. Because v16 is ready. And it’s already transforming how organizations work.
From the Science Museum Group in London to Thanksgiving Point in Utah, early adopters of the new web Orders interface are issuing tickets, selling memberships and taking contributions in a browser — all without Citrix. And they’re telling us it’s faster, simpler and more intuitive.
By the end of this year, the new Orders interface will be available to everyone, and nearly all nontransactional functionality will be available in the browser. Next year, we’ll continue to deliver the rest. That means, for some organizations, 2026 might be the year you’re solely working from a web browser.

Let’s keep building together
None of this work happens in a vacuum. Your feedback, ideas and partnership shape everything we build. From testing new functionality to making product suggestions, you help us make Tessitura better for everyone.
This year, we didn’t just deliver features. We delivered momentum. That momentum is carrying us into a future where Tessitura grows and adapts to empower you and your teams in new ways. It helps you serve your communities better, reach audiences more effectively and achieve your mission.
If you missed it, I encourage you to check out the recording of our November company webinar. We offer more details about these updates and give a sneak peek at our priorities for 2026.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to what we’ll build together next.
