Leading up to UK Theatre’s Frontline Conference, which Tessitura Network sponsored, we sent out a tongue-in-cheek reminder of what can go wrong when you don’t have the right tools to manage your customer journey. Having worked front and back of house in arts organisations for many years, I know first-hand that it is often the box office and front of house staff who have to deal with the repercussions of these tricky situations.
Frontline focuses on the key issues facing general management, customer service, operations, and front of house roles in the theatre. Following the conference, Tessitura's Brooke Gallagher and Dana Astmann put their heads together to consider what tools are available to improve efficiency and communication within arts organizations. From file sharing to project management, from scanning a ticket to understanding your audience, the right toolkit can help connect different teams across your organization.
Their article is published on the UK Theatre Blog.
