The 2019 Tessitura Europe Conference (TEC) will take place 18th and 19th November in Birmingham, UK.

With hundreds of delegates expected and a greater number of sessions offered than in previous years, organisers expect this to be the largest TEC yet.

TEC is jointly hosted by the Birmingham Hippodrome and the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre (BCEC), a new purpose built function centre in the heart of the city. This marks the first time that TEC has been held in a bespoke conference centre, a reflection of the event’s growth.

Learning Opportunities

The conference schedule boasts even more sessions than in previous years, on topics from accessibility to analytics to automation. Building on last year’s popular Hands On Sessions, TEC 2019 is launching an expanded programme of Learning Lab Sessions. These will dive into the exciting capabilities of Tessitura Analytics, the interactive business intelligence tool launched in 2018, and different sessions will focus on the specific needs of individual departments. In addition, there will be introductory sessions for SQL and SSRS for those looking to broaden their skill set.

One of the hallmarks of Tessitura Analytics is the highly visual nature of its dashboards, both prebuilt and customised. For the first time, TEC will host a Dashboard Art Gallery to showcase the artistry that Tessitura Analytics is already bringing to organisations across the globe.

Open Space, a format in which participants put forward their own topics for discussion, proved highly popular at TEC 2018. The opportunity returns this year, with Open Space being a central focus of the two days in Birmingham.

The conference’s major networking event will take place at Birmingham Hippodrome the evening of Monday 18 November. In addition, delegates who arrive early on Sunday will gather for an evening of casual networking before the conference kicks off.

“TEC is the European community event of the year,” said David Pearce, Tessitura Network’s Managing Director, Europe. “It offers the opportunity to share knowledge and network with likeminded colleagues from across the Tessitura community.  I am looking forward to continuing my involvement in this great community event.”

The Tessitura Europe Conference would not be possible without the support of many sponsors, including principal sponsor Microsoft at the Constellation level. At the Platinum level, Made Media is the sponsor of Open Space. Gold sponsors include Baker Richards, Digonex Technologies, Substrakt, Wordfly, Windcave, and Weldon Williams & Lick. Silver sponsor are Adage, After Digital, Booking Protect, Queue-it, TLS-BOCA, and YesPlan.
