TN Express Web Version 7.0 is now in Beta

The Web Products Development Team is excited about achieving a major milestone in the development of TN Express Web (TNEW) version 7.0!

In late October, we deployed our Beta Release (v6.12.1) out to all TNEW QA environments and invited our intrepid early testers (representing 47 organizations) to join us in testing. Beta testing is an important part of the software development process as it allows real users to test the entire application in their environments. The goal of beta testing is to improve the quality of the product, integrate customer input and ensure release readiness. 

Speaking of general release, at TLCC in August we provided an initial roadmap for Version 7 including both Phase 1 and Phase 2 features.

 

 v7.0 is a multi-phased release and we are currently targeting the first release of v7.0 (Phase 1) at the end of 2017. The general release will include a responsive user experience for Single Tickets with Select Your Own Seat (SYOS), Gift Certificates, Contributions, Memberships, account management and transaction path along with new administration tools. 

Phase 2 will deliver functionality in smaller increments and begin after general release of Phase 1 with packages leading the way followed by Guest Checkout, Quick Start Templates, Account History, Mobile Tickets and Payment Plans. 

We will be rolling out packages starting in Q1 with all packages being completed by end of Q2 2018. The remaining Phase 2 features will be rolled out and released throughout 2018. 

As we continue to refine our release plan, we will be updating the roadmap with any changes or updates in timing.
