Current Development

Tessitura Version 14.1 has been released and contains the first major part of the Tessitura Business Intelligence Initiative—a completely new List and Output Manager. At the same time we’ve been busy finishing another major component of the BI Initiative, which is Tessitura Analytics.

We have also modified our release schedule to ensure that all the features of the Business Intelligence Initiative get into members’ hands as soon as possible. To that end, Tessitura Version 15.0 is currently scheduled for release on or about August 1, 2018 and this will be the next required release. You'll find all the news about Version 15.0 and the upgrade schedule in this important Support Alert. 

At the same time that we are completing Version 15.0, we continue to develop the following version of Tessitura, which will include new Membership features and a focus on rewriting the Constituents area of the application in a web-based interface. We will also be working on making sure that all of our new web application code adheres to WC3 Accessibility Guidelines.

Version 14.1 Product Creation Utility

The creation of recurring performances and packages, such as daily admissions or repeated performances, can be a time-consuming activity for the Tessitura administrator. In Version 14.1 we have introduced a new utility to assist with this. The Product Creation Utility will help to make this tedious, error-prone process more streamlined and repeatable.

The utility, found on the Season Manager menu, can help to automate the copying of existing performances and packages to a range of future dates. It supports copying either a single performance or an entire day’s worth or performances and packages, with lots of options to give you control over exactly what is copied and how the products are created. For example, when working with a daily copy, you have the option to specify the seasons for the performances and packages to include, and the ability to skip specific performances in the created packages. The settings used are saved as Product Creation Sets and can be reused to easily repeat a specific copy to an additional date range.

The Product Creation utility will certainly be a boon for anyone who needs to maintain daily or weekly products in Tessitura. Much more information about the utility can be found in the Version 14.1 update webinar and the v14.1 documentation.

Version 14 Service Packs

We are continuing to release v14 service packs on a monthly basis, and this has proven to be a much easier process to manage than the older hotfix method. Read all about Service Packs right here.

Development Sandbox Now with Full v14.1

The Development sandbox has now been updated with the release build of v14.1.
