Retail Point of Sale Integrations – Now In Beta!

After extensive input from the Tessitura Community and thorough vetting of multiple solutions, we are excited to announce that we have selected two partners to join the ecosystem in the retail point of sale category.

SalesVu provides an innovative point-of-sale solution designed to improve efficiency for your business. The application for iPad connects to a secure cloud-based infrastructure for centralized management, reporting, and marketing.

Shopify is a commerce platform that powers over 600,000 retailers in over 100 different countries. Shopify POS allows you to sell at one or more retail stores and gain business insights from detailed sales, customer, and marketing reports.  

Both integrations will enable member look-up in the POS system so that member discounts or benefits can be applied in your retail shop or café. You will also be able to accept Tessitura-issued gift certificates as a payment type in the POS system, and all transaction data will be stored in Tessitura on the appropriate constituent record. 

Beta Testing

Integrations with SalesVu and Shopify are available for beta testing now, and we are looking for additional organizations who would like to join.

In order to be a beta tester, your organization would first need to purchase either SalesVu or Shopify. Once that has been completed, we will install the Tessitura integration free of charge. Below are some of the expectations and responsibilities of being a beta tester:

• Participate during the duration of the beta phase providing valuable input, guidance, and validation for the completion of SalesVu/Tessitura or Shopify/Tessitura POS integration.
• Identify a team (or individual) that will conduct thorough testing/QA (Tessitura will provide a list of recommended test cases/scenarios).
• Provide feedback on any issues and/or possible enhancements in weekly meetings and creation of Trello board cards. 
• Retest as changes are made.
• Provide approval that all works as expected.
