Heather Laidlaw Kraft

Heather joined the Tessitura Network in December 2014 as a Project Manager and Consultant after being a user on the system for almost 10 years.
After holding several director level positions in Consulting, Heather is currently Product Owner for Integrations.

Prior to joining the network, Heather worked for Seattle Repertory Theatre for 16 years. In 2005, Heather became the Seattle Rep lead for their conversion to Tessitura. She was also instrumental in guiding Seattle Children’s Theatre, Intiman, and ACT (members of the Seattle Tessitura Consortium) in their conversions to Tessitura. Heather was also one of the founding members of the MAC committee and on the leading edges of adopters for the Next Generation of Tessitura (v11 & v12).

Residing just north of Seattle in Shoreline, Washington, Heather enjoys gardening and playing with her furry friends - rain or shine!

Chris Szalaj

Vice President, Engineering
Tessitura Network

As Vice President of Engineering, Chris leads the Engineering and Quality Assurance teams of the Innovation Group at Tessitura Network.

He brings over 18 years of experience building and delivering software in the arts and culture sector.

Prior to joining Tessitura Network, Chris worked at L2 Interactive, delivering Tessitura-integrated digital products and overseeing the engineering group. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tennessee State University with emphases in computer science and music.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, deep water fishing, cooking, a cappella music, and playing the ’cello.

Chris Wallingford

Chris Wallingford is the Product Owner for Data and Reporting in the Tessitura Network Innovation Group.
Chris started at Tessitura as Director, Business Intelligence in January 2018 after 10 years with Jacobson Consulting Applications, Inc. (JCA). His first six years at JCA primarily focused on managing Tessitura Business Intelligence application development and support, including T-Stats, Tessitura Dashboards, and the Revenue Management Application (RMA). For the remainder of his time he oversaw all of JCA’s product lines as Director of Products. Prior to JCA, Chris spent eight years developing and supporting technology solutions for arts organizations, including The Adrienne Arsht Center and New World Symphony.

Nara Zitner

Nara joined the Web Products team in January 2017 as Product Owner for TN Express Web.

Nara returned from London where she worked for the UK Parliament in their digital services department as a portfolio manager and the Royal Academy of Art as a systems analyst. Prior to that, she worked over 9 years at POP (a web and interactive agency in Seattle) where she worked with Tessitura on early SOAP API and Kiosk development as well as working directly with licensees on custom website development and integrations with Tessitura; she has survived many an onsale.

Mark Rhodes

Product Analyst
Tessitura Network

Mark Rhodes has been working in the IT field since 1995 and was Lead Developer of the programming team that originally created the ticketing functionality in Tessitura (then called Impresario) for the Metropolitan Opera.

After the Impresario project concluded, Mark, as was customary for that time period, spent a year at a dot com venture that failed and after that worked as a consultant in the field of corporate governance. In 2002, Mark was happily pulled back into the world of arts organizations by the Network, where, as the son of ballet dancers, he feels particularly at home. In what spare time is left over after work and spending time with his wife and daughter, Mark enjoys playing wind synthesizer, composing music, and gaming.
Meaghan M.

Meaghan Metke

Business & Systems Analyst
Tessitura Network

Meaghan has been working with box office, marketing and development systems for over 25 years.

She has done everything from managing the transition from hard tickets to computerized ticketing to overseeing major projects involving online ticket sales. After working with various arts organizations, Meaghan joined the application software field where she helped pioneer internet enablement across multiple markets.

Meaghan is an experienced project manager who oversaw ticketing for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics and implemented internet sales for Major League Baseball. She is thrilled to be a Business Analyst on the Tessitura Product Development team, and works closely with a talented group of in-house developers to shape the future of the Tessitura software.

Meaghan resides in her home state of Washington, where she and her dog enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Paul K.

Paul Kappel

Senior Product Manager
Tessitura

Paul Kappel is a Senior Product Manager on the Innovation Team.

Prior to joining the network, he has worked with many Network members while a Senior Consultant at JCA. At JCA, Paul was an integral part of numerous Tessitura implementations and data conversions, as well as provided consulting on best practices and development of customizations and reporting. Paul joined JCA after years of experience at Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts Management from the University of Richmond, and currently lives in Chicago, IL. When he can't be found doing analysis, it's a good assumption that you will find him out running the Lake Shore Trail or skiing in Utah.
