Important Hotfix available for Tessitura v12.1.2
All builds of Tessitura v12 include a client logging tool to facilitate the troubleshooting of issues that may occur when using the client application. In v12.1.2, it has been discovered that the default client logging level has been set to Trace which is the highest verbosity level. While this setting will not cause any direct problem in using the client application or any of its functionality it may impact system performance and resources such as disk space due to the increased logging frequency and amount of information being written to the logs. NOTE: This issue only affects sites using v12.1.2. Sites using 12.0.x or 12.1 are not affected.
The Network has released a hotfix compatible with12.1.2 which supplies an updated Nlog.config file configured with the appropriate default logging level. This hotfix may be applied to correct the default logging setting and resync the client files. The hotfix is posted in TASK Solution #82 titled "v12.1.2 General Release Hotfixes" in the "Version Upgrades and Patches" workspace. In addition, the existing 12.1.2 upgrade and installation solutions on TASK have been updated to include this fix. If you have not yet installed v12.1.2 but are planning to please be sure to download a fresh copy of the files before proceeding. Because these files have been updated with the fix, there will be no need to apply the hotfix after upgrading.
The Network highly recommends the installation of this hotfix if your organization is running the v12.1.2 release to eliminate any issues that may result from the excessive logging. As always, we strongly suggest installing the hotfix on your Test system before your Production system is impacted.
