Information on compatibility of SQL Server versions with Tessitura version 14

In follow-up to a notice distributed by the Network in March, 2014 alerting licensees that Tessitura v14 would be supported only with Microsoft SQL Server 2012, we wanted everyone to know that the options for SQL Server support with v14 have been expanded.

Tessitura v14, which is anticipated for release in the first quarter of 2017, will not be compatible with SQL Server 2008R2 but will be compatible with the following versions of SQL Server:

SQL Server 2012
SQL Server 2014
SQL Server 2016 (running in SQL Server 2014 emulation mode)

If you are currently running SQL Server 2008R2 you must upgrade to one of these compatible SQL Server versions in order to install Tessitura v14. Either the Enterprise or Standard edition is acceptable.

Please note that this information is pertinent only to licensees running Tessitura locally as the Network provides SQL licenses and performs SQL upgrades for licensees running Tessitura in the RAMP hosted environment.
