Tessitura v14 Service Pack 2 has been released

We are pleased to announce the release of the Tessitura v14.0.2 Service Pack.

ABOUT SERVICE PACKS
Service Packs are full builds of the Tessitura application that include fixes for high priority defects in the current release. We declare a defect as a high priority when the Support and product Development teams determine that the defect affects expected operational behavior to the level that an update should be deployed sooner than the next planned release. Service Packs are released on a monthly cycle and are cumulative – the most recent Service Pack includes all fixes previously released for the same version.

SERVICE PACK INFORMATION FOR LOCALLY-INSTALLED LICENSEES
Service Packs are released via the Version Upgrades and Patches workspace in TASK. Currently available is v14 Service Pack: v14.0.2.  
• If you have v14 installed, apply the current Service Pack over your v14 instance.  
• If you are upgrading Tessitura, note that the solution in TASK that contains the general release will always contain the current Service Pack. When upgrading to v14, make sure to download the currently posted release from TASK Version Upgrades and Patches Solution #110 to get the version that includes the most current Service Pack. 
• If you are in the process of implementing Tessitura, please contact your Implementation Specialist to discuss installing the Service Pack. 

You will use the Tessitura Installation Manager (TIM) to apply Service Packs. The steps to install a Service Pack will be the same for every Service Pack.   As Service Packs are effectively rolled up hotfixes, they are not more functionally impactful than applying a stand-alone hotfix. Our intention is for you to be able to apply these Service Packs regularly with little to no testing overhead. 

SERVICE PACK INFORMATION FOR LICENSEES HOSTED IN RAMP
Once you are live with Tessitura and have been upgraded to v14, the RAMP team will update your system to the most current Service Pack that is available. The RAMP team will provide advanced notification of when Service Packs will be applied to your Test and Production environments. As with any scheduled maintenance release, production upgrades will occur after business hours in your region. Once on v14, Service Packs are not optional and will be automatically applied to your environment by the RAMP team. As Service Packs are effectively rolled up hotfixes they are not more impactful to your environment than applying a stand-alone hotfix. Our intention is for you to be able to take these updates regularly with little to no testing overhead.
