v12 Data Migration Toolkit is Available for Installation

The Network is pleased to announce the exciting first step toward the upgrade to Tessitura v12!  The General Release of the v12 Data Migration Toolkit has been finalized and is available for download by anyone planning on installing the optional v12.0 system upgrade. Please see v12 release cycle details for more information about the v12 release cycle.  All files and documentation required to install and work with the Toolkit are posted in Solution #53 in the TASK "Tessitura Version Upgrades and Patches" workspace in the "Tessitura Version Upgrades" category.

As part of the move from v11 to v12, your existing data will need to be migrated to fit the v12 functionality. Unlike the v11 migration, the majority of the v12 migration will take place as part of the automated database upgrade with no intervention required. The Migration Toolkit includes a set of tools that will allow your organization to effectively manage the migration of certain data mostly in the Plans area for workers and solicitors. 

The data migration toolkit should ONLY be installed on systems running Tessitura v11.0.3 or higher and is required in advance of the optional v12.0 or required v12.5 system upgrades. Please note that RAMP licensees need take no action to install the Migration Toolkit. The RAMP team will be in touch with you soon to schedule the installation of the Toolkit.
