DEAI in-conversation: Celebrating disability pride month

Disability Pride Month occurs worldwide, usually in July. The origins of this celebration trace back to the United States, commemorating the passing of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in July 1990. Yet, disability pride is about much more than accessibility.

Join us for an engaging conversation as our panelists share what disability pride means to them as people with disabilities. Learn how the movement extends beyond mere acceptance and discussion of accommodations. Disability pride is a powerful social justice movement. It raises awareness, empowers individuals to embrace their unique identities, and advocates for a more inclusive society. When we gather to honor and celebrate each other’s history, achievements, and experiences, we champion inclusion together.
