Sandra Ashby

In 2006, Sandra joined the Tessitura Network in the Asia-Pacific Region and is based in Sydney, Australia.

Output Sets are her passion and The Output Set Cookbook is her 'baby'. She's also rather fond of Lists and Extractions too.

After completing a Fine Arts Diploma, Sandra commenced her career in the Performing Arts in 1991. In the following years, with Opera Australia and the Sydney Symphony, Sandra’s roles covered many areas such as, Box Office, Marketing, System Administration and Financial Reconciliation.

In 2003, Sandra temporarily left the arts world to release her inner geek. After completing a Graduate Certificate in e-Commerce, and with a love of Perl and Javascript, Sandra started her Web/IT consulting business - S3 Productions.

Whilst consulting for Opera Australia during their Tessitura implementation in 2005, Sandra met Chuck Reif and the rest is Tessitura history.

Out of hours her alter-ego, Nan, loves to sing with her faithful sidekick Pop, guitarist and serious guitar collector. Together they are The Nannas - infamous music legends in their own lunchtime.

Sandra is an avid photographer and is constantly monitored and supervised by her Cat.
